Understandably, it is normal to be curious about vaping, but it is also important to understand the risks associated with its use. Scientists are concerned about the effects of vaping and vape products on the entire body, including lung injury, heart disease, disrupted brain development, and even death. You may decide for yourself that there are better ways you can relieve stress with healthier activities, such as meditation, picking up a hobby, or exercise.

The term “vaping” includes all devices that are meant to simulate the smoking experience, previously experienced by smoking traditional cigarettes. While vaping has been advertised as being “safer than smoking” or even, “helping people quit smoking cigarettes,” research around the harmful effects of vaping shows that these promises may not come true. So while vaping may be touted as “safer” than cigarettes, safer does not equal safe.
